Right then. We’ve finally done it. The new Defiant SEO website is live and we are dead chuffed with how it’s come out.
It’s been a while coming if we’re honest. We’ve spent so long looking after other people’s websites that our own one got a bit left behind. Cobbler’s children and all that. But we got there in the end, and we think it’s a proper reflection of what we’re actually about now.
We’ve also got some other news worth shouting about. We’re continuing our work with Speed of Sight for another 2026 season, which honestly means a lot to us. More on that in a bit.
So what’s changed?
The old site did the job but it didn’t really say much about who we are or how we work. The new one is a lot cleaner, a lot more straightforward, and it actually tells people what they need to know without wading through a load of waffle.
You can find out about our SEO consultancy, our lead generation work, PPC, social media, and our specialist SEO for charities offering. It’s all there, laid out properly. No jargon, no fluff.
We’ve also put the case studies front and centre because that’s what people actually want to see isn’t it. Not just someone telling you they’re good at SEO. Show me the evidence. We’d rather let the results do the talking.
The blog has had a bit of a sort out too. We want it to be genuinely useful. Things like how content strategies actually work in practice, what conversion rate optimisation looks like for a small business, stuff like that. Practical, real world stuff rather than textbook definitions.
And yes, before anyone asks, we made sure the site itself is built properly from an SEO perspective. We’d look a bit daft otherwise.
Back with Speed of Sight for 2026
This is the bit we’re really pleased about.
We’ve been working with Speed of Sight for a few years now and every single time we’re at one of their events it reminds us exactly why we do what we do. If you’ve not come across them before, Speed of Sight is a charity set up by Mike Newman BEM and John Galloway. The whole idea behind it is giving people with disabilities the chance to experience driving, something a lot of them have been told their whole lives they’d never be able to do.
Watching someone get behind the wheel for the first time and seeing their face is something you don’t forget. It’s not something you can really put into words. We go to the track days and you come away thinking right, that actually matters. That’s the kind of work we want to be connected to.
They’ve already got their 2026 season dates up and it’s looking like a brilliant year for them. We’re looking forward to playing our small part in it.
What the partnership actually looks like
We handle the SEO side of things for Speed of Sight. That means making sure people can find them when they’re searching, that the site is ranking properly, and that the content is working as hard as it should be. John has been incredibly generous in the things he’s said about our work and we genuinely appreciate that.
But it’s more than just a client relationship. We care about what they’re doing. We turn up. We don’t just send a monthly report and leave it at that. That’s not how we work with any of our clients, but with Speed of Sight it feels especially important to actually be there.
If you want to support what they do, whether that’s donating, volunteering, or getting involved as a business, have a look at the Speed of Sight website. It’s well worth five minutes of your time.
Here’s to 2026
New website live. Speed of Sight partnership continuing. Good clients, good work. We’re in a good place.
If you’ve been thinking about getting some proper SEO support and you want to talk to people who’ll actually be straight with you, get in touch. Have a look at the new site, see what we’re about, and if it feels like a fit then let’s have a conversation.
And to everyone at Speed of Sight, genuinely looking forward to another great season with you. Let’s make it a good one.
